On January 1st I arrived at the Roswell Artist-in-Residence program in Roswell, New Mexico for a year-long residency. It feels surreal to be here. I'm deeply grateful for this opportunity and everything it offers: generous studio and workshop space, a house, expansive landscape, abundant time, and so much light. I arrived with projects in progress and plans in mind, but I suspect those may end up shifting in ways I can't yet imagine.
